Program Overview:

Be a part of an exciting internship journey with the Grab x OVO Internship Program!

Our internship program is designed to provide a real-world experience that enables you to put everything you've learned into action and gives you an opportunity to join us in driving South East Asia forward together.

The interns in Grab x OVO Internship Program will be placed in one of the following business units/departments, such as (but not limited to) GrabFood, GrabMart, 2W & Logistics, GrabAds, GrabKios, GrabRentals & GrabWheels, Grab for Business, Product & Data Analytics, OVO, etc.

This batch of the internship program will be conducted for 3 months, from 21 February 2023 - 19 May 2023*.

Get to Know the Tech Engineering & Product Project Scope:

You will have to assist in improving our product using metrics and datasets and also drive collaborations between diverse teams toward a successful product. The output expectation is to improve efficiency, foster innovation, and maintain high development standards in the system backend, design, or production process.

Under this project scope, you might work closely with (but not limited to):

  • Backend Engineer Team

  • Frontend Engineer Team

  • Mobile Team

  • Infrastructure Team

  • Information Security Team

  • Product Design & Development Team

  • and many other teams that work closely with technology and product improvements.

Requirements for Tech Engineering & Product Project Scope:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.25 and coming from reputable universities

  • College students or fresh graduates with a background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or other similar majors.

  • College students or fresh graduates from unrelated majors with coding/design/prototyping experience (from campus or previous internship) are also acceptable.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, intermediate skills in IT, and technological savvy.

  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures would be a plus

  • Enjoy coding in any language (GoLang, Java, Python, Ruby, PHP, Node.JS, Objective C, Swift, SQL, tableau etc.) would be a plus

  • Able to use design and prototyping tools (Figma, Zeplin, Sketch) would be a plus

  • Have knowledge with multiple cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, etc. would be a plus

  • Excellent English communication in both written and verbal.
